This is another stunning offering from Samsung, but then we’ve come to expect it these days. The Pixon 12 is one of the high-end 3G phones now on the market, but this particular phone does have one major advantage, and, as the name suggests, it’s the fact that it has an astonishing 12 megapixel camera; as such it is a truly groundbreaking camera phone.

The camera being the major selling point of this phone, you would expect it to have good additional features, and it does, it has a very good Xenon flash, autofocus, smile detection, image stabilization, and a number of other nifty features that guarantee a good picture. With the generous 3.1 inch display, any photos taken are bound to look great as well.

This phone also has HSDPA and HSUPA features, meaning that uploading and downloading data is quick and easy, so when not taking photos, you can be browsing the internet with speed and ease.

This really is a very good phone, with all of the features you’d expect of a high-end touchscreen phone. On top of everything it looks exceptionally good as well. As expected with a phone with such a good camera, this really is a phone for the photography fans. It goes to show how far camera phones have come in recent years; gone are the days of phones with cameras attached, this has to be the closest thing to a camera with a phone attached. However, it isn’t just a novelty either, this really has all the other features of any good phone on the market as well.

Summary:

  • Good Points: It has to be the incredible 12 megapixel camera.
  • Bad Points: There really is very little wrong with this phone.
  • Others to Consider: Samsung Tocco Ultra S8300, LG Viewty GC900.
  • Free on Contract with: Orange & Vodafone.
